Buildings

The first written info we explored is that the Cortijo was built by the mayor of Sevilla in 1900. Also there was a breeding area built for pata negro and 5 pastorales houses with courtyards for each 200 pata negro. These pastorales houses are possible future house building locations.

The Cortijo was completely rebuilt and extended in 2001, designed and its construction supervised by the eminent Sevillian architect professor Manzano. The Cortijo is an outstanding and highly artistic palace on top of a mount, the highest point in the middle of the Estate, with marvelous views of the lake and the surrounding Andalusian Sierra.

The built area covers 3.000 square meters and comprises various sections linked to one another by Andalusian courtyards. Excluding the keepers and other staff lodgings there are 15 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, a dining hall, a game room with bar, a guest lounge, several covered terraces, a swimming pool with pool house, an extensive professional kitchen, a utility room, a laundry room, a wine cellar, an engine room and so on.

All is fully equipped and furnished for over 30 guest.
